The Barcelona Mounted Police (Guàrdia Urbana Muntada) has grown and developed together with the city of Barcelona. The town has created new iconic buildings, new spaces for coexistance, and has also managed to give an update to its most historical neighbourhoods. This evolution has granted the city with huge international recognition.

The Barcelona Mounted Police has also been recognized as one of the best within Europe, and their exhibitions have been admired in several cities around the world.
